PC World has done a comprehensive review of the new Cities Skylines game. Their opinion in summary:
Cities: Skylines somehow lives up to the unfair expectations heaped upon it, presenting one of the best city builders in years.
Personally I found the game aesthetically bland and charmless next to SimCity 2013; but must concede that it does much better than SimCity in many areas – most notably map size.
