Maxis have published the first promotional material for the upcoming ‘Cities of Tomorrow’ expansion pack. The release date has officially been set for November 15th, 2013.
New features include two new city specializations: a resource-hungry mega corporation powered by a low-wealth workforce, or an urban utopia that develops clean technology and is controlled by the rich. Mutli-zone mega towers will also be possible, allowing you to pack even more Sims into the tiny little maps. These towers will be significantly taller than the buildings currently available.
New challenges involve dealing with the environmental implications of strip mining, rampant consumerism and the occasional attack from an angry, giant robot.
The expansion will be available on Mac and PC, will cost $29.99 and is already available for pre-order.
