Thank you, i’m a long time player that’s gone back to Sims 2, so i remember some of the sites.
Can you make one for SimWardrobe? Either that or it’s called Paladin’s Place. There’s a nice person on MTS2 who kept the files in a file archive you can access.
Because of the frame-based layout, I was never able to get a working archive of that site.
You could make a simplified version (preferably one that was easier to navigate). All you would need were the pictures and the files. It’s on Web Archive, but unfortunately I heard not all the files are on there. However, some nice person on MTS has an archive they set up. Whoever they were, they knew Sim Wardrobe might not last forever, so they downloaded everything ages ago and kept them safe. If you want, I could send you a link to the thread where this was discussed on MTS.

Say… I know this is quite a long shot, but do you happen to have access to Amel’s (simsecrets.biz) files, especially the free sets? I’ve been looking for those everywhere since I lost my files back in 2009 and the site is a goner since then. I do understand it may be tough to find someone who has those, though.

Incredibly, I have quite a few files from that site. I’ve combined them into a .rar file that you can download here. I’ve got all the pay sets and about 12 free sets. Probably not everything, but better than nothing.

Hello someone still has some old files from: pc_sims_ smb / katy_76!. Maybe, e.g. the Valentine Card Functional or various Workalbe Kiosk? At Sims2Graveyard they are missing, they do not exist there.

Thank you so much for doing this! I’ve grown disenchanted with TS4 and have gone back to the older games — not just TS3 but also TS2 and even TS1.
I think charm was highest in TS1 and declined with every subsequent iteration, and usability was highest in TS3 and lower in every previous iteration, which makes TS2 the sweet spot — the place where charm is still high, and usability is adequate. Thanks for preserving so much great old stuff for that game.
Hi, and thank you SO MUCH! Like Corylea above me, I’ve tried repeatedly to get into Sims 4 and just can’t. I never did make the jump into Sims 3 either, and ended up reinstalling Sims 1 & 2. I wanted to ask about SimsinParis archive, all the Forum gift links are taking me to spam sites. Are these lost for good or yet to be archived? Thank you!
APRILR41, the SIP forum gifts were hosted at Black Pearl Sims forum, which has been closed for a while hence the inactive “forum gifts” links. But they were archived and put on dropbox by someone at MATY (Sims Cave). Here is the dropbox link for the SIP forum gifts (most with pics):
